New Build Extension - Total constructed area: 83 sq m

The objective was to create an inviting outdoor space — a sanctuary for leisure and relaxation — featuring a semi-covered terrace and a pool area. The design needed to ensure that the existing house and its extension would harmonise from every vantage point, in dialogue with the surrounding green landscape.
The result is a testament to the synergy between architecture and nature. An ultra-light metal structure, integrated with the existing volumes, reinforces the horizontal presence of the entire complex. Appearing to float in mid-air, the structure rests on just two slender columns. These not only maximise the panoramic views but also organise the space into three distinct and proportionate areas: a solid roof, an open pergola, and finally, a void.
What makes this oasis truly special is that visitors can admire the 14-metre-long pool through expansive windows from every social area of the house, subtly dissolving the boundaries between inside and out.
The value of the property is not only preserved but significantly enhanced through this harmonious proposal, where utility meets beauty.
A design that brings together architecture, landscape, and everyday outdoor living in a single spatial language.
